We continued researching and mind mapping our chosen topic, and then began using these ideas to ideate basic thumbnails. We learnt basic ideation techniques to assist with this. I decided on gender roles for my inequality topic. We then began refining these thumbnails for the interim presentation.

Design is very confronting and aggressive, with high contrast and heavy pathos imagery. The inclusion of the body copy then reinforces the message of the poster with logos.
Contrasting colours and strong texture, combined with negative space make the images stand out. Type is also strong and easily readable.
The flat vectorness and familiarity of the google searchbar, combined with the jarring placement of it create a focal point, drawing your eye to the poster. The strong language also draws heavily on pathos to create impact.
